With more team changes forced upon them, the Hawks failed to gel.
Cummings, Mitchinson and Watchman-Atkinson were out, Jaff and Garrity were in.
The Hawks started out on the back foot and the match continue that way until the end. Without a regular goalkeeper for Wednesdays the Hawks had that extra issue to deal with. Against the run of play, the Hawks actually took the lead from a Lawrence penalty kick. This was conceded when one of The Club's players entered their own box. The goal came at the second attempt as the penalty had to be retook after the referee rule there had been encroachment.
This lead would be short-lived. The Club stepped it up a gear and they soon had the ball in the back of the net several times. The Hawks did to help themselves as they not make the most of the chances they had.
The Hetton Soccer-6s has an overhaul next week. The teams have been divided into two leagues. All previous results are cancelled. The leagues start afresh.
The next game is 18th April - 7.30pm against The Club
